Bing Update Algorithm

Microsoft decided to updated its search engine algorithm on Bing, in order to capture content from social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, MySpace and others. Bing steps is a counter for Google algorithm since the beginning of 2012 decided to stop looking for social networking content.

In a demonstration conducted Microsoft on Thursday (5/10/2012), search activity at Bing will be divided into three columns, the columns Core Results Web, Snapshot, and Sidebar. The third column is scheduled to be released in late May 2012.

On the left there is the Core Results Web, according to the main web search for the keywords entered. It makes no difference with the previous Bing search. Since this is the main quest, then the greater portion of its search results than others.

In the middle there is Snapshot, provide additional useful information according to the keywords entered. For example, a user looking for seafood restaurants in town, then it comes out in column Snapshot includes maps, reviews, ratings, etc. linked sea food restaurants in a city.

Sidebar far right column there. This column presents the search of the social networking site’s content. Bing able to search the contents of Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Quora, LinkedIn, Google and Blogger +.
